T248 steering wheel issue
babas54740 Posted messages 1 Status Member -
My Thrustmaster T248 steering wheel is bugged or broken: even when it is not powered, it makes unpleasant jolts and the force feedback is much less effective. While searching online, I found no similar issues; I feel like I'm the only one experiencing this.
If you can help me, please let me know.

Hello!
I have the same problem as you. T248 steering wheel on PS4. I was playing F1 19, everything was fine and at the moment I started the race, there was no force feedback, the wheel is loose. I stopped and restarted and now the wheel won't calibrate, it jerks and is no longer recognized by the PS4. I'm completely lost, I've done the update, I've tried everything but nothing works anymore... Help!!!

There is a problem with the temperature probe; the dashboard shows HI - TEMP and everything shuts down, the phenomenon is random.
The solution is to open your base and cut the wires of the probe and instead put a 20,000 ohm resistor; your dashboard will permanently indicate 45°C and the fan will run continuously to cool. You can also try disconnecting the probe; the dashboard indicates 20°C but the fan does not run, which can burn out the engine if you play for too long, but it is very simple to do with 1 screwdriver and 1 pair of scissors.
Hello, I also have a problem: suddenly no more power, and a feeling of slipping in the engine lol but I have the warranty, it should be fine.
Hi everyone, I have the same problem. It was working very well until last night; since then, it turns on and gives little jolts, and that's it.

If it's under warranty, bring it back. Ask them in passing if they know about the problem and the solution because we still don't have an answer for this defect.
Personally, I tried updates, recalibrating, restarting the game, the console, but nothing worked. They exchanged it for me in the store and that's all.
Hello, same for me for 2 months already, and I am on PS4. I thought I was the only one, but it turns out I'm not. I don't have a solution to this problem; I just think the wheel has a manufacturing issue.
