Hello,

Since December 10th, my television (Panasonic) turns on by itself every night at 3 am.

The various solutions found online haven't changed anything.

Nothing in the settings mentions this issue.

Has anyone experienced this problem? Did they find a remedy?

Or do you have any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

    Hello,

Get a power strip with a switch and plug the TV into it so that before going to sleep you can turn off the power strip and turn it back on in the morning.

      Hello.

I hope that the reset fixes the issue.

If not, it might be the TV's "standby" circuit showing signs of wear.

Yes, it’s a radical solution and without a headache... It’s still sad to have a top-notch modern TV and have to make do with bits of string..!!

I also find it a bit unfortunate that there is a significant absence of Panasonic or its dealer... A part of the sale is allocated to them for assistance... They complicate the process on purpose to escape this wonderful promise and also keep the money... If someone has the answer to your story, it’s definitely them..

    Hello,

    Thank you foulq

    I clarify

My Panasonic LED TV TX 55HX600E is connected to a rooftop antenna, it is not on a network nor behind a box

The advice on the internet was to check that no other device was connected (DVD recorder, internet box, device via HDMI)

No automatic power-on clock (couldn't find anything in the settings)

    No scheduled recordings.

    Thank you again

I haven't found the solution, but now other participants will probably be able to help you.
Good luck and good night, because at 3:00 AM, I wouldn't want to be in too much trouble..
      Happy New Year anyway.

    Hello,

Thank you, that's what we plan to do.

    BUT it's a palliative measure.

Why since December 10th when the television had been working fine for a long time without this issue?

Did you perform a factory reset on the TV?

    Hello,

Try resetting it and if the problem persists, you will need to check with a repair technician for a quote or consider investing. Otherwise, try unplugging it as a last resort.

    Hello

If that's the only problem, the solution of adding a socket with a switch is a good solution that avoids standby...

    Hello,

Like many contemporary televisions, I think it has a scheduling feature in the menus that the user should have already explored, in order to know more about the possibilities offered on their TV.

And in there, are there startup and shutdown times...?

Another possibility... The neighbor's remote control or another connected device that starts the TV...

Indeed, there is an "Auto Power ON" mode.

This setting configures the power-up mode preference. Last State and Standby options
    are available

    French - 58 -
    Power On
This parameter allows you to configure the preferences for the Power On mode.
The Last State and Standby options are available

Here is the link to the manual (in English then French) https://tda.panasonic-europe-service.com/docs/2z639df458z1z40ed9z6672z706466z23zcc4c215fcd72eb07aea842a933fd097b23b646d1/pgrp001/pcat033/tx65hx600e/982801/2ZXCQNWH3DLA.pdf

French starts from page 35... Maybe you'll find what you're looking for there..??

    Hello,

    Thank you very much

I don't have "auto power on"

I do have last state and standby mode. I am in standby mode.

    What does "last state" mean?

It is probably its "previous state"... this language is translated from English in use among Asians... so we need to interpolate what it could be for us... That is the question

On this TV, there is also a Wi-Fi WOL function (Wake on Lan Wi-Fi) which translates to "Wake online, wirelessly" and this could also turn your TV on... see all your devices in the house (and the neighbors) that trigger around 3:00 AM

I would add that there must be a code for it to work..? and I imagine that your remote control must be the only one with the correct code..?? or maybe an application installed on a smartphone..??

An HDMI port can also trigger your TV to turn on... it depends on what it is connected to..??

-- In the main menu, you also have "Timers" page 42

    2.4. Timers
You can set timers for future
events using the options in this menu.
You can also view previously created timers
    in this menu.
To add a new timer, select
the tab Add Timer using the
Left / Right buttons and press OK. Set the options
in the submenu as you wish and when
you are done, press OK. A new
    timer will be created.
To modify a previously created timer,
select that timer, select the tab
    Edit Selected Timer and press
OK. Modify the options in the submenu as you
wish and press OK to save your
    settings.
To cancel a timer that has already been set, select
that timer, select the tab Delete
Selected Timer and press OK. A
confirmation message appears on the screen. Highlight
Yes and press OK to continue.
    The timer will be cancelled.
It is not possible to set timers for
two or more events that will be broadcast on
different channels at the same time.
In this case, you will be asked to choose one
of these timers and cancel the others. Highlight the
timer that you wish to cancel
and press OK, the Options menu
appears. Then highlight Set / Cancel and press
OK to cancel this timer. You will need
to save the changes after that. To do this,
    press OK, select Save Changes
    and press OK again.
    3. Settings
You can manage your TV's settings

So here is an overview of some possibilities... you cannot say there aren't any.

    Thank you for all this.

My TV is not connected to the network, nothing on the HDMI port.

    I only have an antenna.

I will check if a timer is set.

If I understand correctly..?? You don't need to be "networked" because it comes via Wi-Fi, totally invisible... if that's what it's really about..??

So you have no HDMI cable plugged in..?? No other casting system..?

Like many TVs, you must have timers for various actions... and it's not necessarily straightforward... I mean the action can be indirect...

From what I understand, in this menu, you should be able to create timer profiles... have several of them.

On December 10th, or the 9th, someone played with your TV or the remote control and did things without realizing it... Or they pranked you..

The coaxial from the antenna is not involved..
