Hello,

I have my TCL television on Wifi that keeps going into store mode and there's a large vertical band moving from left to right. I'm not really sure what to do; I'm pretty sure it's not a big deal, but being not very familiar with new technology, "I'm over 80 years old."

Thank you in advance for explaining it to me in simple terms so I can better understand.

Hello Foulq,

As planned, I went to the store where I bought the television, they explained it to me and it works, I will explain it to you, maybe in the long run it will be useful to you. You go to settings, then to "system" okay, then to location okay, choose "Home" and confirm, okay and press the arrow to exit, and everything will be back to normal.

Thanks again, and happy holidays and best wishes for the new year.

Hello,

You should ask the store where you bought this TV.

Found on Google:

How to Remove the Store Mode on your TCL TV?

  • Turn on your TV.
  • Go to the menu by pressing "MENU" or "OPTION" on the remote control.
  • Select "Settings," "System," then "Location" using the arrow keys, and press "OK."
  • Select "Home" and confirm by pressing "OK."

Thank you Foulq, I will attempt the operation and if it works normally I will get back to you to let you know. Thank you and have a good day.

Hi, Sorry foulq, I wasn't able to do it, this afternoon I'll go to the store with the TV remote so they can explain its operation to me because I have a manual but there are no explanations in French. I wish I could have done it, it would have saved me a 40 km round trip.

Sincere regards and thank you for trying to help me.
