Hello,

I took the TOEFL Home edition, and the proctors, to ensure that no one cheats, take control of your computer and you have to share your screen. However, they didn't disable all the settings for me, and even though my "screen sharing" and "remote management" are turned off, I still have this green background as if my screen is still being shared. Could someone please help me, or let me know if I can't find the problem how to return the computer settings to default without going through a factory reset.

Thank you in advance

Hello,

Just in case: have you turned off your Mac (Apple menu -> Shut Down), waited a few seconds, and then turned your Mac back on (Power button)?

This procedure allows, according to Apple, to fix things in Macs equipped with an M1 processor: the M1 chip automatically detects if something is wrong with the PRAM and resets it.

Hello,

Maybe it's just a green background put up by the supervisor to prevent potential cheating. Did you look into that?

I'm dead, that's exactly it, I couldn't believe it, it's a neutral wallpaper they put for not cheating. Thank you very much for your help.
