Alternatives to HP Software for Printing??

Hello,
I have all the numerous necessary HP software just for printing, HP, HP smart, HP suite and I don’t know what else.
And printing doesn't work.
Overall, all Microsoft apps are very slow and buggy.
| So my question is: is there an independent software that allows printing?
| Logically, there should be, since I have independent software that allows me to scan (Naps2)
Thanks for the help!

Regardless of your printer, you must go through its driver because it is specific to the printer (or to the same series). While there is indeed a "generic" driver for older printers, it is an HP or Epson driver (for Epson of course!) because the printer language was originally developed by HP and Epson and has practically become a standard.
When you start a print job from Word or elsewhere using the print command, you need to access the printer driver. If you have other utilities, it is not mandatory to use them. They are tools meant to make your life easier for printing images or others without having to open a software that will interpret the image so that you can then launch your print.
Now, when prints are slow, it can come from many factors, such as a file that is too complex, a lack of memory in the printer, or a poorly configured spool.
I have already had very complex PDF files that took more than 10 minutes to print... and 10 minutes is incredibly long!
