8GB RAM installed, 4 usable

Hello,

The issue may be known, but I am unable to solve the problem despite several attempts.

I have 2 RAM sticks of 4 GB, so 8 GB of RAM installed. However, I have 3.95 usable according to Windows.

My motherboard is a B350M PRO-VDH, up to date. For the RAM: G.SKILL F4-2400C15D-8GIS.

I have unchecked the maximum memory option in the advanced options of the BOOT file.

I also tried with the registry editor, by changing the value from 0 to 1 in memory management.

Nothing works, I still have 3.95 GB usable.

I'm also surprised to see in the BIOS the frequency at 2133 MHz, despite choosing A-XMP on profile 2; I wonder if that could play a role.

Do you know how to fix this?

Thank you in advance.

    Hello

Which version of Windows do you have? 32 or 64 bits?

    Sincerely

My motherboard is a B350M PRO-VDH, updated. For the RAM: G.SKILL F4-2400C15D-8GIS. The two sticks are the same.

    Hello,

I followed the steps from the provided link, but none fixed the issue.

I unplugged/replugged the RAM sticks in the different slots on the motherboard.

I updated my BIOS (non-beta version).

I ran a diagnostic with Memtest:

Yet I still have the same problem :(

    Hello,

I know these RAM stick models, they are made for Intel, I had the same ones before in 8 GB sticks with blue screen or inability to start with 2, memtest told me they were good too, but I still changed them for Ripjaws and now there are no problems.
