I.T Works Repeater Connection

Hello,
I can't connect my i.t Works repeater, I'm trying with the WPS function and with an Ethernet cable but it's not working. With WPS, the blue light on the repeater flashes very quickly and the message Access Wui appears on the box, but the pairing doesn't happen, and with the Ethernet cable, nothing happens; I don't see the network in the list of available networks.
I should mention that the repeater was working at the place of the person who lent it to me.
Thank you for your help.
Pierre

Hello,
It's already a good thing that it works elsewhere; but that's not enough for it to work at your place... otherwise, it would be too easy to leech off the neighbor's internet and others...
Your provider is probably not the same and perhaps other things as well... I suspect it’s not set to "Repeater"...
Normally, you put your repeater near your BOX in position ready for connection... Then you go to your BOX, press the WPS button for a little more than 5 seconds, the light starts blinking... you confirm the connection on the repeater and it should be good.
The WPS opens the valid connection for 10 minutes or 5, depending.
Your WPS button must be active (the light is blinking) --- if it’s not active, it won't work.
After that, you can move it to its final destination.
There are several models like "Itworks 300 Mo/s White" for example.
Hello Jeannets,
Thank you for your response,
Yes, the WPS button is blinking. To confirm, do I press the WPS button on the repeater again?
You should not "press again"... as soon as it starts blinking, you need to wait... normally, the repeater connects on its own, as long as it is not too far from the BOX... is it really a Wifi repeater? => Wifi
I plugged it into a socket 50 cm from the box, as indicated in the manual. I press the WPS button on the repeater for 1 second, it starts to blink quickly, then I press the WPS button on the box which begins to blink, and I have Access Wui displayed on the box for about 5 minutes. Then it starts blinking more slowly on the repeater and I see works 300N appear in the networks. When I click on the network that appeared, I have no internet.
I selected this network on my smart TV and got a message saying no internet access....
I don't understand.
Hello,
it doesn't work then ....
For the WPS, you need to press the button on the box, not the one on the repeater.
For the ethernet connection, it's normal that it doesn't appear in the networks; you'll probably need to configure it in access point mode instead of repeater mode to use it.
And there you go, there it is ....
But misery, those line spaces are so annoying !!
According to your statements, you are indeed connected to the repeater's Wi-Fi and indirectly to your BOX's Wi-Fi... This may not be the real problem...
"No internet access" does not mean not connected to Wi-Fi... The river is there, but there is no boat on it.
You should try to connect to this Wi-Fi on your phone or a tablet... to see how it goes...
--- You hadn't specified that it was for a Smart TV... We can't guess..!! what the brand and model is.
You should have an "Internet Connection" section in the "Settings" of that TV
In Wi-Fi, you should see the name (SSID) of your Repeater on your TV screen... marked "Connected." Yes, that's good.
Then, you should find somewhere: DNS1: and also DNS 2: you need to fill these in with valid values.
I suggest you enter these values DNS 1: 208.67.222.222 and DNS 2: 208.67.220.220 and confirm with OK or save
It is likely that you will need to restart the TV afterwards
-- Here is an example of the menu path (for an LG) it's for example
I hope it will eventually work... you can come back with your questions if it doesn't work, but providing details.
