Snap understanding issues

Snap comprehension problemHello, I don't understand. My ex deleted me from their Snap, but when I add them, it shows "added." I can access our old conversations and send them a message, and it shows "delivered" with a blue arrow, even though I don't have their score, so I don't have them in my friends. Why is this happening? I just noticed they have a new Snap, which I had never seen in the search bar. I've been trying, and it seems they've had it for a while already. When I add their new Snap, it shows like the old one: "added," "delivered," with a blue arrow when I send a message, even though I never had them as a friend on their new Snap. Why is this happening? Also, on both their old and new Snap, they have a subscribed account. Does that make a difference?

Hello,
when someone removes you on Snapchat, you can still send them messages if that person has enabled "everyone" in their contact settings, which means they can receive messages from anyone even if they haven't added them.
So it's normal if you see a blue arrow when you send them messages, but normally they should be able to see them.
However, if they block you, you won't be able to send them anything or add them back.
