Steam Guard, no code received

Hello,
After an update, for the first time, I'm being asked for a Steam Guard code to log in to Steam.
But I'm not receiving anything in my email inbox.
I don't know what to do, nor how to contact Steam..
I can only find the support with pre-filled questions but I can't log in...
Any advice?

Hello, Steam Guard is a mobile authenticator, try using the Steam mobile app to get your code.

But I'm on PC...
I've never had the Steam app on my phone.
And I never asked to use Steam Guard.
There was simply an update.
When I tried to log in, I got a screen (on my PC, that is) asking for a code supposedly sent to my email address.
But I don't have an email.
I checked my spam, waited half an hour, and added the recommended addresses from Steam support but still nothing.
So do I have to install the app?
Is this a way to force me to install the app? Oo

Well, I just received the email with the code...
It took three hours to arrive.
So I'm trying to use it and now it says "your session has expired."
XD
It's Kafkaesque.
So I'll try to log in again..
It says "incorrect code."
I imagine they'll send a new email.
It's already been 5 minutes, still nothing.
But if it takes another three hours..
