Hello, my Livebox 5 is not working, the internet light is blinking white and that means there is a cable problem, but I can't see where. Help me, thanks.

    Hello,

it's not necessarily a wiring problem, it could be a PPP authentication issue.

Is it a fiber or ADSL box?

    In any case, contact Orange.

    And there you go....

But misery, those line spacings are really annoying!!

I contacted Orange, they've brushed me off twice and I have fiber, how can this authentication issue be resolved? Please express yourselves more clearly, thank you, I really want to get this sorted out.

If it's a Livebox 5, it's fiber only. This Livebox does not support ADSL.

I am connected to the wall and with my fiber to the first connector, I have already tried the other three, I don’t know what to do.

What does "Mettent un vent" mean?

PPP authentication issue, it's the user code fti/ .... with the corresponding password.

You probably can't do anything about it.

What lights are there on the ONT (if it is external)?

They didn't come to my place; I mean by giving me the cold shoulder, and I don't understand FTI authentication or PPP; it's not my area of expertise, I think.

    Good evening.

Restart the Livebox at the small power transformer: unplug it and then plug it back in. Wait two or three minutes. What does it give?

Already did it rather yesterday, still a connection problem with the white internet blinking light, thank you.

Has this Livebox already worked at your place?

No, she arrived 2 weeks ago but the electrician didn't come to the 2 appointments, so I'm willing to try by myself because it's starting to take a long time.

You say "connected to the wall". It's worth trying directly: from the Livebox to the PC via Ethernet.

You also need to identify yourself: you must have a username and a "Connection" password.

Username and password for "Login": Have you never had them?

Only Orange at 3900 can give them to you.

      Are you eligible for Fiber?

    Hi

By whom and how was the box connected to the network?

Which cable(s) in which socket(s) on which box(es)?
