How to check if the XMP profile is active

Hello everyone,
I just bought a Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO SL kit of 2x16GB at 3600MHz C18 to replace my Ballistix 2x8GB 3200MHz C16.
As soon as I installed them, I went into the BIOS to enable the XMP profile. The sticks are recognized with the correct specifications.
I reboot and go to the task manager to see if the profile has taken effect, but unfortunately, they still show as 2133MHz both in the BIOS and the task manager despite having XMP enabled. I launch CPU-Z and it shows DDR4-3596 (1798MHz) for Max Bandwidth and XMP 2.0 for SPD Ext.
Out of curiosity, I test the sticks one by one, but there is no change and I end up putting the old ones back in, which immediately run at 3200MHz even in the task manager and the BIOS.
Configuration:
Intel12600K
Asrock Z690 Pro RS
PNY 2060 SUPER
MSI Coreliquid 240R
Is this a bug or are they really at 2133MHz?
I honestly don't know which software to trust.
Thank you.

Hello
With DDR4, the Intel 12600K doesn't support RAM faster than 3200MHz, which is why I think your XMP is failing. That being said, it should still work at 3200... install CPU-Z to see exactly what speed you’re at.
To boost your RAM to their qualified frequencies, you need to overclock the memory bus of the motherboard.

No way, Flo. No Intel CPU in the DDR4 range has a memory controller that automatically manages modules with frequencies higher than 3200MHz. However, we use modules with frequencies higher than 3200MHz with these CPUs if the motherboard allows it. If its motherboard can't handle 3600MHz when it should, that's an issue. Maybe a BIOS update could fix the problem.
