Connect my EPSON XP-2150 printer via USB

Hello,

I absolutely want to connect my EPSON XP-2150 printer via USB to my Mac Book Air running OS X El Capitan (version 10.11).
The installation goes smoothly and the printer is recognized. When I start a print job (either a test page from the utility or a PDF), it seems to start. The printer pulls a sheet but the printing never actually begins (I waited an entire day...).
Yet, everything is up to date in OS X, I installed the driver and even the apps recommended by Epson, I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the printer, I tried changing the USB port and the cable, in short, I followed Apple’s troubleshooting recommendations but nothing works.

I should mention that my old Canon printer worked perfectly via USB on this port.

So I'm looking for help.

Thank you.

    Hello,

Your printer doesn't seem to be using the USB cable. On the front, it shows... Wi-Fi

Yet the manual clearly states that one can use the USB to connect to the computer in addition to WIFI.

        Hello,

Not working on anything but Windows, I’ll let my little buddies inform you. Hang on...

Problem solved by resetting the print system and reinstalling the driver.
