SFR IMAP server still down?

Hello,

and thanks to those who will reply;

I am on W11 and my email is managed with Thunderbird

1st question: the Imap sfr server seems to have gone elsewhere as I have received a message asking me to enter a new password... everything was fine 2 hours ago, should I be patient or try something? When I go to "Settings" "Saved Passwords" only the smtp server appears (even though I cannot send messages, even the message asking to re-enter a password).

2nd question: with W10 I could easily retrieve my Thunderbird profile to avoid losing my folders; I would back it up manually. With W11 I no longer know where to look for my profile and I would like to know if there is a way to automate a backup of this profile at a certain frequency.

    I just sent my help request, but I'm thinking that if my IMAP server is down, I won’t be getting a response anytime soon... what an idiot I am!!!

    Hello .....

    I don't know if SFR is the same, but currently there is a similar issue with Orange that has been ongoing for about 72 hours, which seems to be disappearing since there have been no alerts today with Thunderbird..

    The best thing would be for you to check with the Forum or other SFR sources to see if you are the only one in this situation or if there is really a problem ► See this link

    As for backing up the Thunderbird profile on W11, it's exactly the same as on W10, the profile is in the hidden files

    Thank you jmarion, I found my mailbox, I just had to wait for SFR to work.

    As for the profiles, I had not checked the hidden files.
