Audio issue on Smule app
yo -
Hello,
Hello community! I'm reaching out for some help. Let me explain the problem. I'm a big fan of the Smule singing app. Until now, I had a Wiko that gave me decent recordings. Nothing more. I wanted to upgrade to an iPhone for much better quality. I just acquired a refurbished iPhone in like-new condition. I bought wired earphones ???? (so the mic is right next to my cheek ????????). As a result, I've never had such disastrous sound! I can't record anything anymore because it's inaudible. Like being in an old tunnel where even Jack the Ripper wouldn't dare to venture! Can you please help me? Have you ever encountered this problem? Can it be fixed? Is it the headphones? Thank you in advance for your help!!! Hurry up with a response, I want to sing!!! My fans are asking for me! ????????????????

Hello,
I will try to answer you... without answering.
Changing your phone to improve quality was a bad idea. When your needs evolve, you do need to adapt your equipment. But you have to do it by getting suitable equipment. A smartphone is not a singing microphone; miniaturization simply does not allow for proper voice capture.
What you should have done in your case if you want to continue karaoke on mobile is to invest in a microphone that you can plug into your smartphone. You can find equipment for a reasonable price, maximum €80. This equipment will simply need to be connected via USB to your smartphone. If the microphone is in jack, you can also buy inexpensive USB sound cards. They are perfectly managed by Android.
Good evening, I have the same problem but with a Yamaha MG10XU which had been working perfectly until now.
The Smule update gives me the same kind of disgusting tunnel sound.
However, I don't have this problem on Audacity, nor on Cubase
Is it the update that's messing up?
Thank you
