Steam Launch Issue User Folder Access

Hello, I recently downloaded the game "Spider-Man" on Steam. However, when I try to launch the game, an error message appears. It says "Access to the game's user folder is impossible. Please check that the application has permission to access the following folder: C:/Users/gabri/Documents/Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered/. However, I have no idea how to check that this permission exists. Do you have any solutions, or have you encountered the same problem and come up with an idea?

Are you using Windows 10 and Windows Defender?

I didn't know what Windows Defender was, so I removed file access control for Spiderman, thanks for enlightening me!

Yes, it's the anti-ransomware protection. It's better to leave it on and configure access to your programs:

Hello, I’ve had this problem before. I had disabled Windows Defender protection and another antivirus.

It should work after that, you’ll be able to play Spider-Man ;)
