MG2550S Printer: Green/Orange Lights Flashing

Hello,
I haven't used my printer (Pixma mg2550s) for a while and after changing the cartridge, the orange and green lights started blinking intermittently. The cartridges are compatible, they are indeed the correct ones.
Do you have any idea how to fix it?
