LOL… thermometer, and what’s the relation to the printer?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
some info:
-------------------------------
turn off the printer
- hold down the resume button (the one that’s flashing) and press power for a few seconds while still holding down
- release resume then power
- press resume 2 times
- wait a moment then press resume 3 times (the button should turn orange)
- press power then wait
- restart your printer and it should work.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
delete your printer and reinstall it. in case of orange flashing, press the orange button for 30 seconds and release like for a test print.
---------------------------------
- Unplug the printer - Keep both buttons pressed - plug back in - hold both buttons for more than 10 seconds (at least 1 minute for my part otherwise it didn’t work) - (the light stays orange even once the fingers are removed - Wait a bit and press power - restart the printer and it works!!!
-----------------------------------------------------
to clear the printer's memory and erase permanent errors like "ink recovery reservoir full":
Button 1 = Power on/off
Button 2 = Cancel/Restart
1. Start with the printer off (all lights off)
2. Press 2 then 1 while keeping 2 pressed
3. Keep 1 and release 2
4. Keep 1 then 2 quick presses on 2 > the light turns orange then green
5. Release 1 and wait for the light to stabilize on green
6. 3 quick presses on 2 > the light turns orange, then green, then orange
7. press 1
Memory is cleared and permanent errors are gone. you will need to reprogram energy-saving functions and ink level monitoring - maintenance tab in the printer properties menu.
This procedure clears the memory, it does not fix clogged heads, empty cartridges. It doesn’t prevent excess ink from spilling on your desk if it is really full. For that, you need to roll up your sleeves.
Little info, ink from inkjet printers is water-soluble. No solvents like acetone or alcohol that degrade plastics. Clean with warm water and a drop of dish soap. for very dirty heads, let soak overnight. Then let dry before reassembling - a quick blow dry if you're in a hurry.
