My printer is blinking red and green

Hello everyone
when I plug in my Samsung ML-1640 printer, the button on top blinks red and green, I don't know if it's a toner issue, a hardware problem, driver or something else
help please

    but to keep it simple, here’s what it says:


    Translation:
    The machine encounters an error such as
    open cover, no paper, installation error,
    or invalid error.
    • The machine requires maintenance
