Emails that "send" themselves

Hello,

One of my colleagues claims that she is saving emails in Drafts while waiting for my approval, but that..... some of these emails are being sent on their own to the recipient. This is problematic, as several emails are being sent to my clients when they are not complete or contain errors.

A technician I contacted told me that it's impossible for emails to "go out" like that!! Can anyone confirm this? Thank you for your response.

It is wrong to claim that drafts or emails cannot be sent on their own.

I have been experiencing this kind of mishap for several weeks with Thunderbird: my emails in progress are sent without me realizing it or doing anything at all, to my recipient at various stages of drafting. I later realize, upon seeing my outbox, that the email has been sent four or five times, once with two lines, then four lines, in short, it's terribly embarrassing.

Hello @Ismey

Thank you for the testimonial. Could you provide the version number of Thunderbird and Windows?

Hello
You can never rule out a bug, but indeed what is in draft cannot be sent "by itself". That is precisely the purpose of drafts. Once saved as a draft, you need to go back in editing and click on Send/Send for them to be sent.
Regarding bugs, it is possible to redo the account configuration on the machine, but that will depend on the type of Office version.
Best regards
