Unknown device connection: inability to disconnect it

Good evening, today on my Instagram account, I received the notification "a device is requesting access to connect" (followed by the location, which I am not at, and the device model). After that, I went to "your connections" and there I see that the device is "in use" even though I have never accepted the connection!!!

So I clicked on "log out" and each time: it logs me out of my account, even repeating the action does not work. How can I successfully log out the device? Has this happened to anyone before??

    On mobile devices, you need to go to the three horizontal lines to open the menu. Then, select "Settings," and then "Login Activity" to see the connected devices. And click on (log out of all devices)
