Headset recognized as a microphone instead of a headset

Hello,

I don’t know why, all of a sudden, my PC recognizes my headset as a microphone and therefore there's no sound coming from the headset; basically, it’s not recognized as an output device, just the microphone is detected.

Moreover, regarding my speaker, my PC recognizes it perfectly and tells me that I am connected to it, while the only sound output I have is from the integrated speakers of my laptop, so there’s no sound coming from my speaker, and just to let you know, I can’t even control the sound of Bluetooth devices directly on my computer.

So I find myself stuck without being able to use any Bluetooth devices on my PC.

I’ve done some research online, trying to update the drivers, troubleshoot, etc., but with no results or improvements whatsoever.

Thank you for your understanding.

Thank you for your help.

Hello,

Have you tried this:
Control Panel -> Sound -> click on "speakers/headphones" instead of the built-in speakers

Yes, I tried but still without success, I can't connect to the headset itself; it recognizes that the microphone is connected and not the headset's speaker.

P.S: I am on Windows 11

Sorry, but I'm out of ideas and I'm passing my turn to my more competent friends.

Ok, I’m eagerly awaiting their responses because it's really annoying.

Thank you in advance.

Have a good evening.
