Good evening/Hello everyone!

I'm opening this topic because I bought a lapel microphone, but it is recognized as a speaker on my computer. The jack has 2 rings.
Please, I don't know what to do anymore.
Best regards

    Good evening

If I understood correctly, I need to plug my microphone into the speakers and then connect the speakers to my computer.
If that's the case, it's not working because I tried.

P.S.: The link you provided doesn't work.

    Hello,

2 traits ok, like any microphone really, with a "standard" jack plug

-> Is it properly plugged into a "micro" Jack port?

Note: some computers (mainly laptops) are equipped with "Combo" Jack ports that combine both headphones AND microphone; for those, you usually need an appropriate cable that converts the combo jack into two distinct jacks or a hands-free kit from a phone or a headset with a combo/USB plug.

      Hello,
First of all, thank you for responding to my message.
Yes, I am on a laptop and I have a jack input for both. I have USB speakers with separate jacks if necessary. Best regards.
