Jack socket for microphone and headphones Solved

Question

Hello,

I have a headset that works as both a microphone and headphones, of course, but it only has a 3.5 mm jack output. I would like to know if it's possible to have sound in the headset and the microphone working simultaneously because when I talk on Skype, the microphone works but the sound is transmitted through my computer's speakers and I would like it to come out of the headset.

What is the color of the jack plug to connect my headset?

Hello,  The microphone plugs into the pink jack, and the headset normally plugs into the green jack.  There may be an adapter to split your headset-microphone jack into two jacks.

How do you plan to do it without an adapter if your headset has a single jack and your PC has one jack for the microphone and another for the headset?

To set up a 5.1 speaker kit, for the line input but not for that I think.
