Philips TV sound cutouts

Hello,

I have been experiencing a sound problem with my Philips TV for a few days now; the sound frequently cuts out and the volume increases on its own. I tested it by connecting my computer via HDMI, but the problem persists. I changed the HDMI cable because it was old and I thought that was the issue, but to no avail; it occurs at irregular intervals.

I have a Philips TV and an Aston decoder with a TNT Sat card.

Do you have a solution? Any idea what the problem might be?

    Hello,

    Try resetting your television and the decoder.

      Thank you for your help, I just did it, without success. Now the sound has deteriorated and it's crackling...

      Do you have another idea?

        See a repairman...

        I suppose this television is no longer under warranty...
