Photobooth: Non-compliant ID photos

Hello,

This is the first time I attempted to use a Photomaton this morning to get ID photos. Please know that this option can be considered a scam.

The rules were followed to the letter. However, the 3 photos were declared non-compliant by the booth (No. VC11 at Intermarché Bresson 38320), and there was no possibility to cancel the payment of 8 Euros made by credit card, even though I wanted to abandon printing anything since no photo was declared compliant.
The customer service number will direct you to a voice server with very distorted sound, and you'll have to try to get a refund by filling out a form online + sending the photos by mail... by registered mail, I suppose.

Consider this a warning!

Hello!

There are photo booths that work well and whose photos are accepted without issue.

However, after some setbacks, I now go through a professional. It's a bit more expensive, but less than one might think, and the photos are never refused.

What is well conceived is clearly stated,
And the words to say it come easily.

I understand that there are machines that work better than others, but what is shocking is that you cannot automatically be refunded when none of the photos are considered compliant. The machine is, however, able to provide this information for each photo.

For your information, you can take your own ID photos according to the required specifications, but you need to print them on a dye-sublimation printer... laser and inkjet prints are not accepted.
