What does this icon mean on an Instagram profile?

Hello,

When you're on someone's Instagram profile, what is the icon just to the right of where it says "message" for? The icon in question has a small bottle symbol with a + sign next to it.

    I don't have this icon on other people's profiles, only on mine...

    It's the button for suggesting new accounts to follow -> discover contacts (click on it, you'll see).

      Yes, indeed, you just provided the answer to my question!

      It's strange because the first time I clicked on it, the contact suggestion banner didn't appear. Hence my confusion. But I just tried again, and now it shows up.

      The matter is therefore resolved! Thank you for your response :-)

      Uh, no.

      There is a "subscribe" button and it's written in full on the left.

      However, I'm not sure there is a "follow" button, since a "follower" is someone else who subscribes to your account.

      Open someone's Instagram profile, and you'll find the icon that's puzzling me just to the right of the "message" button.
