Hello
It doesn't depend on you: it's the administrator who decides (or not) to enable/disable the feature.
The group must have enabled the feature for that. Please also be aware that group administrators, moderators, and the Facebook team can always see your name in your anonymous posts. Additionally, anonymous messages will not appear immediately. You will need to wait for approval from an administrator or a moderator.
Best regards
I asked the question through a friend who works at FB.
"It turns out that you're in the backtest for Anonymous Posting that we added in June, so you will not see the Anonymous Post button or the Anonymous Post toggle (even if you saw it before). The plan is to run the backtest for a few more months."
It’s still in testing so they keep some people with the option and others without it to be able to gather stats, etc.
In that case, I don’t know; the only thing, based on what you’re claiming anyway, is that it's happening with your devices or your FB account. But since there is no option for that, aside from a bug in the account itself...
This happened to me too and I really don't know what to do. If you managed to solve the problem, please share the solution with me, and thank you!
Has anyone finally managed to solve the problem? Because it's the same for me, I haven't had that option in any group for about 2 months, it's quite annoying.
Hello
Has anyone managed to solve the problem? I've been having the same issue for weeks while I used to be able to post anonymously and now I can't anymore!! ????♀️
Thank you for your reply, but I'm talking about the groups where everyone can post anonymously except me. (Anonymous posting enabled by the group administrator)
Have you tested it on 2 different devices? For example, a phone and a PC?
Yes, I tried but the "anonymous post" icon is still not visible
Same problem as me
