Outlook bug fix: Anti-oops remedy

Hello,

I installed Antidote which is now compatible with Outlook for Mac. When I request the correction, it only supports the email subject and not the text in the message. (See the screenshot). I contacted Antidote and they couldn't find the source of the problem.

Does that ring a bell?

I have a MacBook Air M2 2022 with Monterey 12.5. And I have done all the updates for Antidote 11.

Thank you!

    Hello!

Indeed, I took the test and it works.

So I will write to them. With this lead, maybe they will have a suggestion.

    I will keep you updated.

    Thank you!

Clearly, you have activated (possibly unintentionally) the "New Outlook" display. So the first thing to do is to switch back to the classic version, the one that works (go through the "Help" menu > "Revert to the old version") and see if the problem still exists in that configuration. Not having Antidote, I am unable to provide more information about the issue you are facing. Sorry.

The "New Outlook" display should be considered as a beta version lacking too many features to be usable on a daily basis.

    Good evening Bernard,

Oh how I thought it was a nice solution!

But no, unfortunately. I receive this error message. And I did place my cursor correctly.

I didn't know that the new Outlook display was still considered a beta version! Thank you for the information!

    Thank you Bernard!

      Hello,

I have the same problem on Macbook (macOS 12.5.1) with Outlook (v16.64) and Antidote 11 (v2.1).

However, if I delete my email signature, everything works fine. So I think the problem must come from the HTML code format of the signature...

      Have a nice day!
