My iPhone 8 keeps asking for the passcode all the time

Hello,

Thank you in advance if you can help me. My iPhone 8 has been asking for the code every time it restarts for a while now. For example, if I put it down, it turns off, and when I pick it up again, it turns on and asks for the code. Before, it only asked for the code when I completely shut it down.
Is there a procedure to return it to normal? If so, thank you very much for letting me know.

    If you didn't know about this issue before, it's maybe because you hadn't set up automatic locking before in Brightness & Display?

    Thank you Yves, I have set the lock to "never" and it's the same, then I tried "five minutes" and it's still the same. As soon as I put the iPhone down, it turns off and when I pick it up three minutes later, it asks me for the code again. I enter the code and it goes on like that, it's very annoying!

    What I suggest, which often solves quite a few problems, is to completely turn off the phone, then turn it back on, enter the unlock code, and re-enter the SIM card PIN, etc.

    It is necessary to know the PIN code for your phone's SIM card; otherwise, you will not be able to use your phone line. However, if you no longer have this PIN code, you must at least have the PUK code (PIN Unlock Key) for this card. Both codes are provided by your telephone operator when you received your card. The PIN code can be changed by the user and may also be forgotten... that is why the PUK code is provided; this PUK code allows you to reset the PIN code after three unsuccessful attempts. So, before performing this manipulation, which consists of turning off and restarting your iPhone, make sure you have the PIN code, and if not, at least the PUK code.

    But, one more suggestion before turning off and restarting the iPhone: try first to completely disable the code, then exit the settings. Afterwards, reactivate the code...

        I did what you told me regarding the last paragraph, I turned it off and on again, and I disabled the code and reactivated it by using my fingerprint, which means that now I just have to put my finger on the main button to turn it back on.
