Connect a VCR to TV Tucson

I suppose you have connected the VCR and TV with a SCART cable.

You need to select this source on the remote control, the "source" or "input" button, or a rectangle with an arrow entering from the left.

Thank you, I'm glad to have received a response.

I connected the VCR to the television using its original SCART cable.

However, I have 2 remote controls for each device.

On the VCR remote control, none of the labels are indicated.

On the television remote control, there is a "source" button, I pressed it and a small screen appeared with a list that I enumerate /

1. TV                        2. SCART                 3. SCART1 (S-VIDEO)

4. SIDE AV             5. HDMI1                6. YPbPr                             7. VGAVPC

To me it's ???

Is it necessary to connect the antenna? I have no intention of recording anything.

Only to play my video tapes.

Thank you, I went through the 7 options offered by the television by pressing "source". I turn on the VCR while being on a channel, but the VCR connects to a channel or a station without knowing which one (it results in a black screen)?

But I can hear the VCR rolling.

I am addressing all the internet users who kindly responded to me, I plan to change my television, even though it’s not old (4 years), it seems outdated. I feel like I’m hitting my head against a wall with this TV; when I look at a USB stick, the next day when I turn on the TV, after a few seconds the programming screen of the USB stick appears...

I still keep all my video tapes that I recorded over the years; you never know, maybe with another TV.

Okay, the problem is that magnetic tapes gradually lose information, the first being color (random black and white passages), then snow, etc....

As long as your tapes are usable, it would be time to digitize them.

Yes thank you, several people have told me that. And I suspect so, I encountered this phenomenon with my tapes for the tape recorder; there were lots of blanks.

Thank you, that's very kind, I hope to find all the titles of the films I recorded on DVD. I will see, it's not bothering me that much.

What do you mean by "digitizing"?
