LG LAS350B soundbar cracking noise

Hello,

I am reaching out to you in search of an answer if possible,

My LG LAS350B soundbar has started to crackle (with every volume change and sometimes even without changing the volume). I have checked all the connections several times, performed a reset, and it crackles no matter the usage, TV, YouTube, Bluetooth...

Do you have any leads on a solution?

    Hello,

    This is indeed not a malfunction that can be resolved by resetting, knowing that it only restores the default settings of the hardware. I would rather lean towards a hardware failure (wear of the volume potentiometer or failure of a capacitor), and this can only be resolved by replacing the faulty component.

    To convince yourself, you can do a test on a conventional hi-fi amplifier in place of the soundbar to check if these interference issues still occur.
