How to connect Logitech speakers to LG TV
Hello,
I have an LG TV model 50PQ2000, 127cm, and I would like to connect my Logitech X-230 speakers via the optical input using an optical/audio adapter, but it doesn't work....
What should I do??? Thank you for your response

Hello,
The speakers on the black and red terminals of the amplifier
The output of the converter to the red and white RCA inputs of the amplifier (Audio input)

If I plug it into my other TV that has a headphone jack, it works...
But my LG television doesn't have one ???? maybe it's too old......

Hello, I'm giving my opinion; it's a setup designed for PC. I think it lacks an amplifier, which makes it incompatible with a direct connection to a TV.

Hello,
"If I connect it to my other TV that has a headphone jack, it works..."
Yes, because a headphone output is amplified.
But indeed, your LG TV does not have a headphone output, and if you want to use your passive speakers, you will need to buy a small amplifier, something like this:

But you've already said:
"... via the optical output using an optical/audio adapter"
So, as previously mentioned, you need to connect the output of this adapter to the RCA inputs of the amplifier

So you will need to tinker, buy this:

Cut the cable in the middle to have a 3.5mm jack cable for each speaker
You strip the cable and connect the braid to the black terminals and the core to the red terminals
