Hello,
I'm on 7, maybe through cligrab?? I often have a ms-ad file, what is it about?

Have you changed the display of system folders?
Have you right-clicked on this folder and then selected "Properties" to try to find out more about the origin of this file?

Hello and thank you MPMP10
Indeed, the cause is Acrobat Reader, the strange thing about the ""thing"" is that I only use it once in a while.
But very rarely!!!
I uninstalled it, now Chrome reads it for me and it's much better!
As for me, I don't use PDFs, only to read them.
I downloaded Sumatra without installing it since everything is fine for now, if the ms-ad folder doesn't disappear, I'll make it ""invisible""

Hello,

If you no longer use Acrobat Reader and have uninstalled it, you can delete the folder in question (no need to hide it), as well as all the remnants that Acrobat may leave in the Adobe User or Program Data folders, there are quite a few, and it shouldn't come back.
