Hello,
after searching this forum and the net, I tried msconig, added a key in regedit, and did many other manipulations, but nothing worked to remove this landscape image that appears before I can log in
I only managed to put the same image as my desktop background, so at least it’s always the same image, but it's still there, I can't get rid of it; is it related to the Microsoft account or to Windows itself?
Windows 10 Pro version 21h2
thank you.

Hello,
Besides of course being achievable by disabling the sleep mode, manually modifying the NoLockScreen registry key works for a reason that escapes me when it has the time, but correctly with the appropriate option of Ultimate Windows Tweaker or Winaero Tweaker.

Thank you for replying but I didn't understand anything! I don't see the connection with sleep mode.
No, I'm talking about the random landscape image with the caption "Do you like this photo?" that Windows imposes before being able to log in with the Hello code.

What is well conceived is clearly stated, but this feature relies on the Lock Screen even if you dislike it; it is completely disabled if we do not want any image at all as I indicated, and it is no longer random if we choose only "image".
One might want it to contain not just a fixed image, but a gallery of their own, which will also disable the Windows comment request related to these random images.
One can also disable the related function via the registry.

I read, I did the manipulation in the registry, I correctly set the value of the created key to 1 and.....it's not working! I still have my image at startup;
As I illustrated in <1>, manually modifying the Lock Screen via the registry is capricious, but it succeeds, for example, through Ultimate Windows Tweaker.
I haven't tried the setting you mentioned (since I disabled everything), but there are also options (Customization, Universal UI) to disable the image change, and therefore probably their random change.

For the image itself, I managed to make it so that the image I selected myself displays, and no longer a random slideshow, even though I must admit that the images displayed are magnificent.
But that's not what I'm looking for; I just want to remove it and go directly to the login screen
but it seems it's not that simple. Well, it won't keep me up at night, but still, Windows and Microsoft are becoming more and more invasive.

Already illustrated in my link in <3>, albeit in English, I don't know what has been done or not aside from the register.
I hadn’t clicked on the link! Otherwise, I wouldn’t have posted.
I think it’s the simplest solution. And if we don’t want an image, we can easily create a blue background (or another color) with Paint.
No need to touch the registry!
