Hello,
I broke the jack port on my LG 32LE33 TV while removing the headphones.
The problem: the TV stays in headphone connection mode... no sound and can't access the sound menu... because the TV is in headphone connection mode.
I've tried accessing the hidden menu but the methods don't work with my TV...
Any solution??
Can we create another audio output despite the headphone connection mode on the TV??
Thank you.

    Good evening,
It needs to be repaired; no adjustments will fix this hardware issue.

    Hello,
This TV has a digital optical audio output...
You can therefore use this output to connect a device with an optical input or a digital-to-analog converter (DAC)
What device (amplifier, home theater, soundbar, or headphones) do you plan to connect to the TV to get sound again?

    Hello
    Thank you for your response..
I only have a wireless headset but not Bluetooth.
Yes, there is an optical audio output.
The seller told me that even with a soundbar, nothing is guaranteed.. the problem comes from the TV being stuck in headset mode.
    What is a DAC???
    Thank you for answering.

    Re
My TV is old and therefore out of warranty
Okay, I see the interest in a DAC.. but which one to choose?
Is a single optical output enough?
    There are many models..

    Good evening
    No..
I just want to get the sound from the TV
Right now I'm connecting the TV to the computer via HDMI but the sound is terrible..
I'm surprised by the low price
So I have to buy the equipment shown in the second link.
Nothing else for the audio output??
    Speakers, amplifier, soundbar..?
Sorry but I don’t know anything about it.
Thanks again for taking the time

Getting sound back on the TV requires removing the broken jack piece from the headphone socket of the television...
      This takes some DIY skills.
Unplug the TV from its power source, then open the back cover and see if it’s possible to pull out the broken piece with a mini screwdriver or other tools (which is not guaranteed at all).
The other solution would be to remove or replace the jack socket, but that entails desoldering this socket from the TV's circuit.

The solution proposed earlier is a makeshift way to reconnect headphones and/or an amplifier.
I don't know what kind of external devices you have that can output sound.

    Ok.. thanks
We have already removed the jack port (female) from the TV by unscrewing it from the back.
    Completely broken.
Aside from the headphones, I have nothing else.
    My question was:
What equipment do I need to buy for sound output? With your connections from the second link?
An amplifier, small soundbar, speakers.. with analog audio cable
Will this equipment override the fact that the TV is stuck in headphone mode and.. impossible to access the sound menu since the jack port is broken? And the model is no longer under warranty..

Normally, the optical output works whether a headset is plugged in or not...

Just check that in the "Sound" menu you have:
      Digital audio output to PCM
Excerpt from the manual page 114

      What to buy....
A soundbar with an optical input would be ideal
then, with one of the DACs mentioned earlier, some speakers like PC speakers

But that's a question of price

Are you sure a TV repairman couldn't replace or simply remove the damaged female jack?
