Gimp text and icons too small

Hello, the text and especially the icons for working in Gimp are too small. The magnifying glass only enlarges the image we're working on. How can I enlarge the icons and text on the sides instead, so I don't have to squint at the screen to see the tools I want?

    Hello,
Open Gimp's preferences and on the left you can choose the theme you want, and below "Theme" you have "Icon theme".

    Hello,

Yes, we can change the color and size of the icons as indicated by Axel_8410. However, for the fonts of the user interface and menus, there is no built-in setting. We can only do it by modifying the configuration files by changing the name and size of the font. To do this, I used this tutorial (in English) that shows how to duplicate the files of an existing theme and then change the name and size of the font with Notepad: https://daviesmediadesign.com/fr/project/increase-gimp-ui-font-and-icons-size-quit-straining-your-eyes/

    Hello,

I created two videos in French about resizing elements of the interface:

GIMP 2.10.30: Increase the size of icons, layer previews, and the menu bar

Change the font size of the GIMP menu
