Dear Sir/Madam,
I have an issue regarding DVD playback.
When I connect my computer to an HDMI port, the TV recognizes it without any problem.
However, when it's my DVD player, I get a "no signal" message.
I would like to point out that this same DVD player is recognized by another TV, so it works perfectly.
Additionally, I have used it before with my Grundig, and there was no issue.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Valérie

Hello,
Try to change the source manually with the remote control.
Since the signal emitted by your DVD player must be different from that of your PC, I assume that switching between the two is not done automatically.

That's nice, thank you. That's what I'm doing and it has already worked so......????
The cable used for both is the same (HDMI) as well as the output on the TV.

You only have one HDMI cable that you disconnect each time because your TV only has one HDMI port, is that right?
If that's the case, then I would use a switch, see the explanations on this page: https://www.draka-paricable.fr/comment-brancher-plusieurs-appareils-sur-1-prise-hdmi/
This avoids having to plug and unplug the HDMI cable each time you use a different device.
Try with another HDMI cable maybe...
edit: uh, I hadn't considered that it's just your DVD player that's not working... I don't understand why since it works on another TV.
I'm directing you to this help page from another brand for possible causes: https://www.samsung.com/fr/support/tv-audio-video/que-faire-si-mon-televiseur-ne-detecte-pas-les-peripheriques-branches-en-hdmi/

No, I have 2 HDMI outputs on the TV. I’ve tried everything. Changing the cable, switching HDMI outputs... NOTHING... and it works perfectly on another TV... with both cables...??????
Now, on its remote control, there is a button "V mode" to choose HDMI or Peritel... I’ve tried, nothing works, and when I press it, nothing is displayed on the LED screen of the DVD (the remote control battery is new).

Hello tuscany77, hi ziggourat!
To sort this out, we would need the references of the devices and perhaps their year of release...
1- The brand and model of the TV (check the references on the back of the TV)
2- And also the brand and model of the "DVD player" (?).
3- @tuscany77, if you have the manuals for these devices, you can answer easily,
usually the references are on the first page.
Best regards.
