Hello,
I dropped my iPhone XR in my pool last night, and since it's waterproof, I didn't worry too much and plugged it in. However, I realized it wasn't a very good idea.
I left it in some rice for a bit to absorb some moisture, then I charged it on a wireless charger last night.
This morning, the left corner of my screen was a bit dark, it was vibrating slightly, and then pink and green bands started to appear. I immediately turned it off and removed the SIM card, and I haven't touched it for about 30 minutes.
What do you think? Can you please help me?

Hello
Fell in the pool, what does that mean? Fell and was caught? Fell to the bottom and then retrieved?
It is "waterproof" but not in every situation.
And apparently, it wasn't in the right conditions there. Moreover, to withstand a minimum, it must not have undergone any other shocks at the time of the fall or previously.
I fear it may be irreparably damaged given the description.
Best regards

Hello,
The phone fell in the water, so it's oxidized.
The device is not waterproof but only resistant to minor splashes. It's not designed to go underwater ^^
As for the green and pink bars, it's a sign that the screen is failing. You'll need to go to a repair shop to deoxidize the device and replace the screen.

He fell to the bottom and then I retrieved him; he must have stayed in the water for 1 or 2 minutes at most, and no, he didn't suffer any shock during the fall or even beforehand.
Hello,
An interesting piece of writing about the "water resistance" of smartphones, keeping in mind that, much like watches, it is very relative (time, wear, dust...):
https://www.lesnumeriques.com/telephone-portable/etancheite-des-smartphones-que-faut-il-savoir-avant-le-grand-plongeon-a166217.html
The iPhone XR is rated IP67 (30 minutes at 1 meter depth) so in the "big pool", let's say 2 meters, lost, even if the theoretical pressure difference is small (0.2 bar vs. 0.1).
