How to enable speakerphone during calls?

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a solution to automatically activate the speakerphone during incoming and outgoing calls on the Xiaomi 9.
My mom recently lost the use of her hands, and we plan to buy her a mobile phone so she can use the voice command "Ok Google" to call her contacts and answer calls. These are the only two functions we are interested in.

However, after testing with my own Xiaomi, I quickly realized that this option has a significant flaw... The speakerphone does not activate automatically, which is very inconvenient because the phone will be placed next to her and she won't be able to hear her conversation partner....

I thought that in 2022 this system was present on all smartphones, but I can’t find any functions on the phone. I searched a lot on several websites in vain... ???? Yet I need to find a solution so my mom can maintain a degree of autonomy.

If anyone on this forum knows a solution to my problem, please feel free to comment. An app? A setting? Another tip? I'm all ears ????.

Good evening,  Landline phones do that... like cordless phones... you just have to press the pick-up button twice in a row.  Phones that pick up by themselves don't exist unless they're broken.

There is also the True Phone app that automatically switches to speaker mode as soon as you move your head away from the smartphone.

I used it on a Xiaomi Mi10 Lite, and now on a Pixel 7. It replaces the original dialer, and after trying it out, if you don't want ads, you can purchase it for a few euros.

I installed True Phone, and it has the option that activates the hands-free mode as soon as you move the phone away from your ear. I used it on a Xiaomi MI10, on a Samsung, and now on a Pixel 7. It works very well.
