I am getting this message: "This host does not support virtualizing real mode. The Intel "VMX Unrestricted Guest" feature is necessary to run this virtual machine on an Intel processor.

VMware Workstation does not support the user level monitor on this host.

Module 'MonitorMode' power on failed.

Failed to start the virtual machine." when launching my Windows Server 2016 machine

    Hello,

    It is probably the age of the processor that is to blame; if we don't change the motherboard of the probably old machine as well, we can try, if the BIOS supports virtualization and it is enabled, with an older version of VMWare Workstation Player, for example 12.
