Hello,
When I right-click on Edge in the taskbar, here's what appears in the window. I would like to know how to disable the "recent" list. Thank you for your help.

Hello,
I couldn't reproduce the recent items history in the right click menu of Edge on the taskbar.
-1- Disable the recent items history
Try disabling the recent items history
Go to Settings (Right-click on the taskbar --►Taskbar Settings).
Left menu --►Personalization
Right menu section --►Start
Uncheck the highlighted box --► Show recently opened items in Start, Jump Lists, and File Explorer
I unchecked all 3 boxes in my case.
-2- Locations of recent items and frequent places
Keyboard shortcuts Windows + R
In the Run command, copy/paste:
%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent Items
Then OK
Delete the items if you see any.
Ctrl + A to select them
Right-click --►Delete
Other commands to check:
Still with Windows + R
%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations
%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\CustomDestinations
Delete the items if you see any.
-3- Disable recent items in the Windows registry.
In the search box on the taskbar, type --►regedit
Backup the registry.
--► How to back up the Windows Registry?
Go to this registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER => Software => Microsoft => Windows => CurrentVersion => Explorer => Advanced => Start_TrackDocs
In the right pane double-click on --► Start_TrackDocs
In the 'Value data' box, delete and type -► 0 (zero)
In Hexadecimal.
0 = Disable
1 = Enable
Close the Windows registry.
Restart the PC.
In principle, you shouldn't see 'Recent' as in your screenshot in the statement.
You should see 'Tasks'.
Another solution.
Unpin Edge from the taskbar with the right click.
Open the Start menu or the search box.
Type Edge.
Right-click on Microsoft Edge.
Pin to taskbar.
---► View and delete browsing history in Microsoft Edge

Hi
I only did the first step you told me to and the result is there. The Recent list no longer appears.
Thanks, pistouri! -
