"Recent" on Snapchat

Hello, when you go to Snap search, there's something called "recent" and inside there are filters and people. Well, for the filters, I understand that these must be new filters added recently and used or something like that, I imagine.
But I don't understand when it comes to people; in my case, only one person appears even though we haven't spoken in 2 months and we haven't sent anything to each other, knowing that since then I've talked to other people but they don't show up there.
So I wanted to know if that means something special (like one of the people going into the conversation but not writing anything, for example) or if it's just because we used to talk a lot before?

I have the same problem,
The issue is that a user I don’t know is showing up in my "recent" list even though they are neither on my friends list nor have I had a conversation with them.. I don’t know them, but they appear in my recent.
I would really like to understand why and see if other people have had this problem..
I just saw that too. I'm not friends with him, but I think my ex-wife knows him, I'm pretty sure of it.
