Bonjour,
Mon copain et moi avions sur notre conversation snapchat le petit coeur rouge, signe que nous étions meilleurs amis depuis 2 semaines. Mais le coeur a subitement disparu pour laisser place à l'emoji qui sourit (signe que nous sommes de bons amis). Savez-vous pourquoi ?

According to my limited knowledge of Snapchat, it seems that they calculate this based on the number of exchanges you have with each other (messages), as well as the number of exchanges between your friend and their contacts.
Basically, if you exchange for example 5 messages/min and you are the person who has talked the most with your friend, the friendship level will be higher.
If they start chatting for example 7 messages/min with another person, you will no longer be the person they have talked to the most, so Snapchat considers that you are no longer "best friends" but good friends.
So logically, you just need to chat a lot with your friend for a certain time, I would say at least a week to regain your "best friend" status. With Snapchat, such statuses disappear very quickly, so it’s normal that it only lasted 2 weeks.
However, do not worry, this status is just "indicative" and your friend has not chosen the status in any way.
