Hello everyone

I noticed this morning that when I delete something on my computer, it says "do you really want to permanently delete" ???? So it doesn't go to my recycle bin at all..... how can I get rid of this thing that I never wanted and which must have happened with some update or other. I am on Windows 10
Thank you for your wise advice

    Hello.
Either your recycle bin exceeds the custom size.
Or in the recycle bin properties, the box "do not move files to the recycle bin" is checked.
Right-click on the recycle bin and then choose "properties", either increase the custom size or uncheck the box "do not move files to the recycle bin" if it is checked.

In my previous message, I clearly mentioned that there is also the custom size; it may not be significant enough, modify it or empty your recycle bin, because if the files in the recycle bin exceed the custom size, the deleted files will no longer go through the recycle bin.

Well, my basket is empty since I emptied it yesterday and it was this morning that I just noticed this problem

I also increased the size, to the maximum of drive C and still the same !!!!! What I'm deleting are just emails, so not bulky at all

I don't understand and can't find a solution anywhere grrrr

Thank you anyway for these responses

How much free space do you have on your C drive?

Go back to the properties of the recycle bin, check the box "Do not move files to the recycle bin," click on "Apply," then on "OK."
Then go back to the properties of the recycle bin and check the box "Custom size," then click on "Apply," and then on "OK."
Check if it’s still the same.
