A specified device does not exist

Hi guys, I really need help. I bought a hard drive for my PC and I installed it in my PC, but the problem is that when I go to disk management, it shows me an error message saying "a device that does not exist has been specified," and I'm sure that my SATA cable works and that my hard drive works.
