Hello,
I need to reformat my PC, and I would like to recover all my emails (sent and received) as well as the address books in Mozilla Thunderbird from my 2 sessions.
I looked for the import/export option (like in Outlook), but I couldn't find a similar option in Thunderbird.
Could someone kindly and patiently explain the steps to follow, as I'm in a bit of a bind...
Thank you so much in advance! And sorry for your ignorance! ;-)

Hello,
To export all the emails, you need to save the Mail folder located in your profile:
C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\Mail
After reformatting, you should place this folder back in the same location.
As for the address book:
In Thunderbird, click on the "Address" button, then in the "Tools" menu, choose "export" ....
There you go, I hope this helps you.
