Hello,
In order to receive TNT in the countryside, I am considering buying a module with a Fransat card to insert into my TCL 55C715 TV.
However, this TV is not listed on the Fransat website as compatible, whereas the LCD-Compare site indicates otherwise.
Do you think there is a risk that it won't work at all?
I would mainly like to avoid reorienting my satellite dish for nothing...
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello
Reorienting your satellite dish to receive Fransat has nothing to do with it; you can only catch Fransat on W5B at 5° west and not elsewhere.
.
On the Fransat website, there is a list of TVs compatible with their module, and you should stick to this list unless you contact them by phone or email and they respond otherwise.
.
And if the module is not suitable, there are still plenty of Fransat-compatible decoders sold with the card in many local stores (Boulanger, Electrodepot, Darty, Fnac, etc.) and online.
And if you look closely and compare prices, some decoders are cheaper than the module.

Hello dhyd,
Thank you for the quick response.
When I mentioned reorienting my satellite dish, it wasn't for compatibility with my TV; it was just to avoid doing it if the module is not compatible afterward.
I contacted Fransat by phone after noticing that my TV was not on the list on their website, but the person just consulted that list to tell me the same thing.
Too bad, that won't be the method I choose.

The only other method to receive TNT via satellite Fransat is through a decoder, and sometimes it's not expensive: €79.99

Of course, you need a satellite dish, either a parabolic one, for which kits start at €29, or a more expensive flat antenna.
The parabolic dish is more complicated to install than a flat antenna.
Personally, I have both types of satellite antennas, but I assure you that the flat one is very easy to set up.
