Dying Light 2 save issues

Hello, I bought Dying Light on PC via Epic Games. After playing for a good hour, I quit and came back a little later, and I no longer have the option to Continue; I can only start new games. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks in advance.

For my part I’m on PS4 and I had 1 week of play, I had incredible loot and unfortunately I got an application error (this happens often on PS4). I relaunch the game and get error message: corrupted data, like you I can’t continue and no matter what I do by uninstalling the game etc, I can’t recover this save… At the moment I’m just thinking of getting a refund from the store because this has simply disgusted me to see a highly anticipated game totally bugged.

My save file just got corrupted. I was playing the game since launch, I was missing 1 inhibitor out of 126, a melee skill, I was level 8 and quite well geared... I had obtained all the unique items talked about on YouTube up to today, except for two or three. I completed all main quests and many side quests, totaling almost a hundred hours, if not more, and poof, SAVE FILE CORRUPTED!!..

In short, I had thoroughly explored it from top to bottom, and beyond the problems, it’s a game I’m passionate about. It really bothers me to talk about Dying Light 2 like that. I’m genuinely angry with Techland, the game is littered with bugs that at times make it completely unplayable... I was ready to be patient while they fixed it because I love the license a lot.

Trying to contact Techland, the only thing I could find was a canned message designed to shirk responsibility. I’m telling you in my own words, it felt like a “Tough luck, you have to start over”.. So, I don’t think I’ll give Dying Light 2 another chance unless they find a way to repair my save (my time spent).
