Hello, I have a problem. I wanted to install Rocket League since it became free on the Epic Games Store, and when I click to launch it, it loads and says Rocket League is not responding, then it shows a white screen and takes me back to the Epic store. I'm not very good with computers, but I tried restarting my PC (classic) and verifying Rocket League on the Epic store, but nothing works. Please help me.

I had the same problem and I just solved it.
- I uninstalled the game
- Open Avast Antivirus (free or paid, it doesn't matter... I have the free version)
- Go to "Protection"
- Disable all "Agents" (files; suspicious actions; web)
Then launch the installation of Rocket League and it will work. -
For those who have the issue of a white or black screen after launching Rocket, do you have an integrated graphics card?
Because if you have a graphics card, for example, a GTX 1080, and the game launches through the integrated graphics card, it can create problems to check. -

- You go to your antivirus and disable it while you play.
If it's Windows Defender > virus & threat protection > virus & threat protection settings > manage settings > real-time protection > on > switch it to off.
You can also disable others below just in case [but don't forget to reactivate them].
If it's another antivirus, search for instructions online; it should be explained.

Your issue with launching Rocket League, with Epic Games and the white or black screen crash, etc., may be related to a faulty graphics driver!
I advise you to uninstall your graphics driver with DDU and reinstall it to ensure that it's not the driver causing the problem.
1 > Download your graphics driver for your graphics card
2 > Uninstall your graphics driver with DDU
3 > Install your graphics driver

Someone found a conflict between the graphics card and Nvidia; test it out.
Right-click on the desktop > NVIDIA Control Panel > manage 3D settings > program settings > add (Add the desired game).
Personally, it was a conflict between the processor's graphics card and NVIDIA, which did not automatically recognize some of my games, whether on GOG or EPIC.

Then try to uninstall Epic Games with Revo Uninstaller; it will remove Epic Games and delete all traces on your PC.

Reinstall Epic Games and try to play Rocket League just in case.
I had a problem with Remnant, could not play multiplayer no matter what I tried.
I uninstalled Epic Games and reinstalled it, and then it worked for Remnant in multiplayer, I don’t know why, so it’s worth a try. -

But I don't know if Gilgamesh has the same problem as the others, but testing it is never a bad idea.
You need to disable the antivirus to launch Rocket League.
Go to your antivirus, and disable it while you play.

Or did you install Rocket League, launch it, and it says it's running?

On PS4, I don't know, at best uninstall Rocket League from your PS4
On your PS4, start Safe Mode:
- Your PS4 must be turned off, turn on your PS4 and hold until you hear 2 beeps and then release.
- A menu will appear on a black background, go to "Rebuild Database", it will recreate a clean database of the
HDD hard drive.
- Download your game and see if it works, I can't guarantee anything, it's just to help, I am on PC
- Your PS4 account is linked to the Epic Games Store account, if not done, you need to link your account.

I have the same problem, and on top of that, it's been almost a year since I bought this PC. I wanted to install it on Steam, but I have never been able to launch it through Steam, even after trying a large number of solutions found online. Seeing it available for free on the Epic Games Store gave me hope to launch it, but it doesn't launch there either. I don't have this issue with any other games, so I'm almost sure that I'm missing a program on my PC to run it, but I have yet to figure out which one it is. For my part, I don't get a white or black screen, it just tries to launch and then cancels.

Hi, I have a bit of a different problem. When I install Rocket League, I get an error
(IS-MF01-5-5) at around 80% of the installation, and even after restarting the PC or uninstalling and reinstalling the game, nothing changes.

I found this on a forum, but I don't know if it works; you could try.
Same problem: resolved by disabling the antivirus program and trying again.
It's just an EPIC Games issue.
- Uninstall Rocket League from Epic Games if it's installed.
- Disable Windows Defender
- Windows Defender > threat protection > virus & threat protection settings > manage settings > real-time protection > disabled
- At worst, disable everything else just for the time of installation
- Try to install Rocket League and see if the installation completes at 100%
- If all is good, try to launch the game and play.
If by chance it works, I can't guarantee anything; it's info I found, so please come back and share for others! -

Have you disabled Windows Defender's real-time protection? If you have another antivirus, disable Avast's antivirus or firewall and test.
PS: Avoid multiple antivirus programs, it's pointless and it creates conflicts, which leads to poor protection. Keep either Windows Defender, which is very good, or Avast, but not both at the same time.
