Yes... Which application? What update level? On what version of macOS? At what stage of the application's launch does the crash occur? Is this problem new (did the application launch without issues until now)?

    Hello and thank you
The problem was that when I went to my emails or Safari, I opened my inbox and if there was a link (same thing on Safari), I received a message
    Unable to open the application
    below a number
    - 10673
    below a blue bar
when hovering over it nothing happens

    mac OS version 12.1
I just received that an update was in progress...
I'll keep you posted in the evening about this issue.

Thank you and have a good afternoon.

Update done, latest version loaded, still the same issue

    Another point
I have many folders and quite a few photos (a bit of a crazy collector)
I noticed that the memory on 1 T.O. was 702 Giga...
For many reasons, I do not wish to go through iCloud
    Impact???

It sounds more like a slight corruption of some system file. Try restarting your Mac once while holding down the "Shift" key (which triggers a number of maintenance operations in the background). Then, restart normally and see if it works better.

    Good evening and thank you
The problem was resolved after questioning those around me...

Compatibility issue between Google <Chrome> and Safari
In one of the many menus, just remove G.Ch to replace it with Safari and everything is back to normal

    Thank you for your involvement

Anyway, Google Chrome is not an application to recommend on Mac. Besides the issues concerning personal data usage, it is primarily a poorly optimized application for Mac, which consumes a lot of resources. So no regrets, throw it away. In cases where you need an application from the "Chromium family," you can use Opera, Edge, Vivaldi,...
